MTZ Corps Construction
Our Process

From first call to final walk-through.

Six steps, each transparent and paced to match the reality of working with a family's time and cash flow.

01
10 minutes

The first call

You tell us what you're thinking. We ask the questions that help us understand scope: what's working in your space, what isn't, what you've already ruled in or out, and whether there's a timeline pressure.

English or Spanish — whichever is easier for you. We listen more than we talk on this call. If it's not a fit for us, we'll tell you honestly and try to point you in the right direction.

02
1–2 hours · free

On-site estimate

We come to you, usually within the week. Measure the space, photograph each surface and connection, and talk through priorities and material choices while we're in the room with you.

If dad is tied up, one of our uncles does the walkthrough with a live video to Loren so the whole decision team is present. Bilingual either way.

03
2–3 business days

Written itemized quote

Within 2–3 business days, you receive a written quote with every line visible — labor, materials, permit fees, and schedule. No vague lump sums that hide where the budget actually goes.

If you want a milestone payment plan, we build it here — tied to real build phases so you're never paying ahead of the work.

04
1–3 weeks lead time

Materials + schedule

Once you sign and the deposit clears, we order materials, pull permits if the scope needs them, and lock in the crew calendar.

You get a written schedule with the start date, the expected milestone dates, and the final walk-through date. Delays outside our control (permit, weather, material supply) get communicated early — no surprises.

05
Depends on scope · weekly updates

Build

Florencio runs the job site. Depending on scope, he's joined by our 1099 crew or one of our licensed subs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC). The work happens during normal hours with respect for your home and your neighbors.

Short photo + video updates at each milestone so you always know where things stand — especially if you're not on-site during the day. Clean-up at the end of each workday is a standard, not a favor.

06
1 hour + 1 year

Walk-through + warranty

We walk the finished work with you, note any final punch-list items, and don't invoice the last payment until that list is closed to your satisfaction.

One-year labor warranty starts that day — anything from our workmanship that fails, we come back and fix at no charge. Material warranties (shingles, cabinetry, fixtures) pass through directly from the manufacturer.
