The Approach

What we'd bring to a project like this.

Fences look simple until two neighbors disagree about the property line. For a Hubbard fence like this, step one is pulling the property pins or ordering a survey if they can't be found. Measure twice, dig once — this avoids lawsuits and re-dos.

Scope: 4×4 pressure-treated posts set in concrete 30" deep with proper post spacing, 2×4 stringers, 6-ft cedar boards with a good-neighbor pattern so both sides look finished, one 4-ft walk gate and one 10-ft drive gate with heavy-duty hinges and slide-bolt hardware.

Timeline: 3–5 days depending on terrain. Often a starter project for families we go on to do larger work for — the crew shows up, the fence is straight, the cleanup is thorough, and trust builds.
